Stephen Tyler: I'm Not Quitting Aerosmith!

Earlier this week, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry announced that Steven Tyler had left the group for good. He told the Las Vegas Sun, "Steven quit as far as I can tell.”

He even went as far as saying the group was searching for a new lead singer! “You just can't take 40 years of experience and throw it in the bin!" he said.

But Tyler is putting a stop to the rumors. Last night, he joined Perry and the guys on stage at New York’s Irving Plaza, and announced to the crowd, "I just want New York to know, I am not leaving Aerosmith," before singing “Walk This Way.”
