Turning sixteen is fun in many ways, but it's also a dreadful time. No longer are you a free-spirited, fun-loving kid ready to enjoy three months of doing nothing.

At sixteen, you're desperate for a car, or money, or your parents just want you out of the house. Inevitably, you have to get a job.

And for some of us, all child labor laws are out the window, and the working world rears its ugly head much sooner. These celebrities might be superstars now, but their beginnings were much more humble.
Guess everything’s cool between Ricky Gervais and Steve Carell!

Gervais is set to guest star as his original character David Brent on The Office later this month, according to Vulture. He shot a cameo that was meant to be top secret, and the episode will air January 27.

Show-runner Paul Lieberstein said the scene is with Gervais and Carell. "It's outside of the office, and it's just the two of them interacting," he says. "It's just a little nod to Steve and his final year."

Lieberstein adds, "We didn't even tell NBC at first. So [Ricky] worked for free. But don't print that — it might get him in trouble with the INS."

I’m so sad that Carell is quitting the show—it just won’t be the same without him! I doubt it’ll go on for much longer after Michael Scott leaves.

As for the January 27 episode, Lieberstein says to make sure you’re watching right at the beginning of the show. "It's a little more than if you blink, you'll miss it, but if you don't set your TiVo right, you'll miss it," he said.

Don’t say we didn’t warn ya!

There’s a lot of talk about the future of The Office. We know Steve Carell is retiring as Michael Scott after this season. But does that mean the show is done altogether?

Show exec Paul Lieberstein tells E! that the show will go on. "There's been no talk at any point of The Office ending,” he says.

As for life at the office without Michael, Lieberstein says, "This will definitely change the dynamic. And we can't just replace Steve because I think that would lead to failure. We have to do something different. This show is really about office life, which so many people live. And changing it up a little will be welcome to the fans. Steve feels he's played almost everything he can with Michael Scott. There isn't a lot of new territory for him to discover. And if he's feeling that, fans must be, at a certain level, feeling that too—it's an opportunity to reinvent The Office."

Another rumor that keeps popping up is the possibility of a movie being made. "Maybe when the series is done we'd do an Office movie. I'd be up for that," Paul says. "But they're all such big movie stars now, I don't know if we could afford them on set."

In related news, we also heard a rumor that Harvey Keitel is on the list of candidates to replace Carell. Lieberstein said of Kietel, “He’s probably the only guy who can do it.”

Danny McBride, Rhys Darby and Michael Emerson are also in the mix. Who would you like to see as the new head of the Scranton branch?
Funny man Steve Carell is convinced that Ricky Gervais hates him because of his "modest personality," and there's the whole leaving The Office thing.

Steve recently announced that he's leaving Ricky's hit show The Office, and has been paranoid ever since that his once pal now loathes him.

When told Ricky hates people who project an “ever-so-humble shtick” during an interview with the Observer Magazine, Steve laughed and said: “Oh dear, he probably hates me.”

He added, “I don’t know how other people perceive the lives of actors but mine is fairly ordinary. I go to work, I come home, I put my kids to bed. If I’m home in time for dinner, I have dinner and then it’s bedtime.”

When Steve first announced that he's leaving the show, Ricky joked, "I'd be lying if I said he should do more. He shouldn't. He should move on, continue to do great work, and buy a new house every time The Office is repeated somewhere."

Do you think the show will survive without Steve? Will you continue to watch it?
Steve Carell and Sandra Bullock are teaming up for the comedy 'The Abstinence Teacher' adaptation.

"Little Miss Sunshine" producers Albert Berger, Ron Yerxa and Polly Johnsen plan on adopting the book written by Tom Perrotta.

“Published in 2007, the novel revolves around a liberal minded divorced sex education teacher in middle America who is at odds with the town’s more conservative groups. At the same time, she finds herself falling for her daughter’s born-again soccer coach.”

There are talks that Bullock will take the teacher role and Carell will play the coach.

Ricky Gervais refuses to talk Steve Carell out of quitting The Office after it's next season.

Ricky is the executive producer on the show, and while he admits Steve's departure will cost him future royalties, he thinks it's the right career move for him.

On his blog, he writes, "Well it's official. Steve Carell will leave The Office after this next season. It was of course inevitable (and sad), but I wish him all the luck in the world.

Steve Carell Confirms He's Leaving the Office

"It was expected of me, as executive producer, to persuade him to stay on. With syndication in full swing, the more successful the show remains, the more billions we all make."

He continued, "It was tempting, but the truth is, I believe he is doing the right thing. He's fulfilled his contract and more, and is a huge film star now. (I knocked it on the head after 12 episodes and a Christmas special.)

"I'd be lying if I said he should do more. He shouldn't. He should move on, continue to do great work, and buy a new house every time The Office is repeated somewhere. (That's what I do. Maybe I'll buy one next door to him one day. That'll f**king teach him.)"

Steve was number #78 on Forbes list of richest celebrities for 2010, so we're sure he's doing just fine! Who do you think should replace Steve on The Office?
Say adios to Michael Scott, because he's just turned in his two weeks notice.

Well, maybe not two weeks, but Steve Carell has confirmed that next season will be his last on NBC's hit show The Office.

“I think [season] 7 will be my last year,” he told EW over the weekend at the premiere of his new animated flick, Despicable Me.

“I want to fulfill my contract. I think it’s a good time to move on.”

So what's Steve going to do with all his free time now? "I just want to spend more time with my family.” Fair enough.

But what's Dunder Mifflin gonna do without their obnoxious boss? Who do you think is funny enough to fill Steve's shoes?
Dinner for Schmucks looks like one of those really funny movies that’s gonna get everyone talking. How could you go wrong when you have Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and Zach Galifianakis all in one movie?

The new trailer for the movie was just released and it already has us laughing. Dinner with Schmucks will be out in theatres on July 23 and it’s sure to be number one on opening weekend.

In the movie, Tim (Rudd) is a rising executive who "succeeds" in finding the perfect guest, IRS employee Barry (Carell), for his boss's monthly event, a so-called "dinner for idiots," which offers certain advantages to the exec who shows up with the biggest buffoon.

You can watch the new trailer below:

Go f*ck yourself, San Diego!!! This news just plain sucks.Anchorman 2 is reportedly a no-go. Just days after we heard news the cast was on board for a sequel, Paramount axed the idea.

Director Adam McKay got our hopes up saying Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, and Steve Carell were all enthusiastic to reprise their roles as the infamous news team. But, like most things in life, it came down to money.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell Re-Teaming for Mail Order Groom

The studio was unable to work out a budget, therefore putting a big red light on pre-production. A very disappointed McKay tweeted the bad news, saying, “So bummed. Paramount basically passed on Anchorman 2. Even after we cut our budget down. We tried. To all who asked: no we can’t do Anchorman 2 at another studio. Paramount owns it.”

We won’t give up hope. Crazier things have happened as a result of Facebook petitions, so let’s start one!

What’s The Office without Steve Carell?? The whole cast is hysterical, but Carell is the real bread and butter of the hit NBC comedy.

Unfortunately, we all better our fix now, because word on the street is that he’s leaving the show! Carell told BBC radio this week that he plans on leaving—get this—next year!!

30 Rock, Office and Community Picked Up

He told them his contract is up in 2011, and he doesn’t see himself staying to renew it. “I don’t think so. I think that will probably be my last year,” Carell replied.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Carell has 10, count em, 10 comedy films in the works right now. Yeah, we’d probably leave too! Josh Groban, Marisa Tomei, and Emma Stone are all slated to be in his next untitled flick about a recent divorcee.
