It’s a celebrity baby news double take…
Actors Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have welcomed their first children as a couple today. The “True Blood” co-stars have had some supernatural spawn of their own as Paquin gave birth to twins on Tuesday.
Representatives for Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer told Hollyscoop:
"We can confirm that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer recently welcomed their twins into the world."
The rep continued, “The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed.”
Paquin and Moyer married in 2010 in Malibu. The actress publically announced her pregnancy in April.
The twins are first kids that they will parent together, however, Moyer has two children – a daughter Lilac, 10, and a son Billy, 12 – from previous relationships.
The couple met while filming the HBO series “True Blood,” which began its legacy in 2008.
Show creator Alan Ball cites the series as the matchmaker, which brought the couple together. Earlier this year, he relayed his feelings in a statement to Access Hollywood.
“I love the fact that Anna and Stephen met on the show and that now, there will be a new life in the world that probably would never have happened if we hadn’t had this show,” said Ball.
The fifth season of “True Blood” came to a close last month, with a finale episode airing on August 26.
Congrats to couple to their new family additions!
