Life in the Hills isn't as great as it seems.
Stephanie Pratt (Spencer's nicer sister) has opened up about her troubles after watching herself on TV.
In a cover interview with Us Weekly, Stephanie opens up about her struggles after surrounded by skinny people. She admits that she started purging after she watched herself on TV alongside skinny co-stars. She says, "I was horrified. I remember saying, 'I can't believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.'"
That wasn't the only time she felt bad about herself. While The Hills was shooting in Hawaii, Stephanie recalls asking her costar
Audrina Patridge, "What looks better, 'shirt on or off?'" Patridge said 'On.'" Says Pratt, "The producers never put pressure on us to lose weight," but adds, "It's embarrassing working with skinny girls."
Stephanie Pratt is not fat, nor is she remotely close to being fat. It's sad the pressure society has put on young women to view super skinny people as normal. You can't listen to the radio for 5 minutes without hearing a lap band commercial. When did a size 00 become a normal size for girls?
