Spider-Man 4 Is A Go

We all knew Spider-Man 4 was eventually going to happen, but the question was just when? Tobey Maguire and director Sam Raimi signed on last month for a fourth and fifth installment, which will be shot together, just like Lord of the Rings was.

There’s no word on whether or not Kirsten Dunst will be back for the next two. But with the way her career is going, she definitely should. Now the hard part is getting the writer.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, playwright David Lindsay-Abaire is in final talks with Columbia Pictures to pen the script. The plot is at this point unknown. So we’re probably looking at about two more years til this film is completed. Stay patient, Spidey fans!
