Friday morning, ex Spice Girl Emma B. announced she gave birth to her second son. The announcement brought back memories of those bygone days when my friends and I would wear 4” platform sneakers and fight over who got to be Posh Spice. And who knew, 17 years later, we had it right? If there’s one ex Spice Girl you’d want to be, it’s David Beckham’s Royal Wedding guest.

After Spice World came out, we kind of moved on to the next big thing, but the Spice Girls were still the most commercially successful British music group since the Beatles. So what happened to our beloved Spice Girls?

Scary Spice: Mel B.: Melanie Brown was the first Spice Girl to give birth. She also went through a whirlwind romance and subsequent nasty split with Eddie Murphy, with whom she had a child, though there was question over the paternity until Murphy owned up to it. Brown said of the incident: “The less said about the Beverly Hills Cop the better.” Today, Brown lives in Los Angeles and is married to movie producer Stephen Belafonte. She is currently pregnant with her third child. She’s appeared on Dancing With the Stars and the Australian Version of The X-Factor.

Whether you love them or hate them, the Spice Girls are here to stay. One comment about a possible reunion has sparked international interest so the girls plan on monopolizing on that as much as possible.

The group is not only planning a comeback show, they're in the process of launching their own TV talent show.

The show will revolved around the five members, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel C, Melanie Brown and Emma Bunton, finding versions of themselves for a new musical to run in London's West End theater district.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members. It's a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs.

"The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time. But then they can launch a musical, which could run for months or even years. It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one."

Sounds like a little too much Spice for us. Would you be interested in watching a Spice Girls talent show?

The Spice Girls aren't just planning on reuniting for the World Cup next year, they're also set to launch their own musical in London's West End.

Geri Halliwell aka: Ginger Spice, wants to get the girls on board for a rags-to-riches two hour “pop extravaganza.”

But unlike the other comeback they're planning, they'll hire five new actresses to play them on stage for this project.

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “The project is Geri's baby really but all the girls are backing it.

"The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast."

Earlier this week Melanie Brown gushed about the Spice Girls reunion saying, “It's really, really exciting. I can't wait to be singing with the girls again!

“We are definitely going to be doing something together again soon. We're actually working on it right now.”

We've been on Spice Girls overload lately, and they haven't even official reunited yet. A Spice Girls musical actually has a lot of potential. Would you consider seeing it?
Melanie Brown aka: Scary Spice has confirmed that the Spice Girls will not only be reuniting, it's going to happen very soon.

She told BANG Showbiz: “We are definitely going to be doing something together again soon. We’re actually working on it right now. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but it’s really, really exciting. I can’t wait to be singing with the girls again!”

It was reported that Melanie was the one who reached out to the girls to get them back together for a one-time performance in South Africa next time, the same time as the World Cup.

We do know that Scary, Ginger, Baby and Sporty Spice are all on board, but Victoria Beckham probably won't be joining them on stage.

A source said: "Mel's determined to get the girls back together for the World Cup and wants them to plough ahead as a foursome if Victoria doesn't want to take part. She has got the others excited by the idea of a one-off appearance. They are very interested."

Do you think it'll be the same without Victoria? Technically she didn't do much singing, but she still had a lot of star power that she brought to the group. Are you excited about a Spice Girls reunion? Or do you think they need to just give it a rest already? Tell us your thoughts!
The Spice Girls are officially all Spice Moms. Melanie Chisholm aka Sporty Spice, announced her pregnancy last August and gave birth to a healthy adorable baby girl named Scarlet Starr last month.

Scarlett came in at 8 lbs., 3 oz. A thrilled Mel wrote about the birth on her website saying that the baby is “beautiful” and “doing fine.”

After keeping us in suspense for a few weeks, Mel finally posted a photo of her daughter on her Celebrity Myspace Blog adding that she's "hopeful that any media interest will be satisfied and future privacy respected."

Technically this will make the paparazzi want to take more shots of the newborn, paps are concerned about their own pockets, not celebrities "privacy."

This is the first child for Melanie, 35, and her boyfriend of six years, Thomas Starr. Congrats again!

Since her tour with the Spice Girls is over, Melanie Brown (aka Scary Spice) is keeping herself busy with a new project.

Mel announced that she will be releasing a new fitness video. "For anyone with jubbily bits, I'm going to tighten you up, make you laugh and enjoy your workout no matter what level of fitness you are," she said.

Gotta give it to Mel, she's really working it these days. Would you buy her video?

2008 is definitely the year of the baby. Former 'Spice Girl' Mel C aka: Melanie Chisholm has confirmed that she is expecting her first child with partner Thomas Starr.

A source told The Mirror: "Melanie loved being around their kids on the band's recent tour and is delighted she's now one of the gang."

The insider added: "Melanie is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a mum for the first time."

Congrats to the happy couple! Please pick a normal name for your child.

Mel C probably felt really out of place during the Spice Girls reunion tour because she was the only one of the group that didn't have a child. That might not be for long. Mel C has been inspired to try to have a child.

She says, "Being backstage at the shows with the girls and all the kids made me think, 'Yeah I could be a good mum.' "I used to say giving them (the children) back was the best bit, but seriously all the girls are great mums... and they have given me the confidence to have a go."

Maybe they could have another reunion so after Mel C has a kid she can bring her child on stage too. She might have felt a bit left out while singing the song Mama on stage with all the other kids.

Another day, another nude photo scandal. This weeks edition of 'are you really that dumb' is dedicated to Geri Halliwell aka: Ginger Spice.

Nude photos of Geri are about to hit the internet and the new mom is anything but pleased. Shots of the then-teenage Geri, posing in nothing but fishnet stockings, will make their debut in the upcoming issue of Hustler magazine.

The photos, which were taken in the 90's, will be featured in the June 08 issue of the magazine. Look for the headline, Ginger Spice Full Frontal. Raunchy!

In a town where celebrities bank of baby pictures, celebrity babies aren't just cute young thangs, they're moneymakers!

If we were strolling down the street, anyone of us would be able to recognize Shiloh, Suri, Kingston or one of the Beckham boys right? Well that's exactly what Kelly Osbourne is pissed about.

She explains, "I respect Gwyneth Paltrow because she covers her babies' faces - she never lets the paparazzi get that picture.

"I'm not going to put the Spice Girls down, but they took their kids on stage at every single show of that last tour of theirs. "To be a child of three and have 25,000 girls screaming at you - I don't think that's necessarily good."

Do you guys agree with Kelly? Are celebrity kids too overexposed?
