Soulja Boy Arrested This Morning for Weed Possession

Rapper and one-hit wonder Soulja Boy has been arrested this morning in Temple, GA for weed possession. It seems like Soulja and his friends were trying to hot box their car.

Hey at least they weren’t trying to “superman dat ho” or some other of the unmentionables from his “Crank That” single.

The 21-year-old rapper, whose real name is actually DeAndre Cortez Way, was pulled over by Temple Police Department around 3:15am and is still being held in Carroll County Jail.

The car Soulja was driving with four of his friends was originally pulled over for a traffic violation. Once the car was stopped, the cop found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and about $70,000 in cash.

Some people get famous through conventional measures: such as signing record deals, releasing and hustling their own albums, or releasing sex tapes, just you know, the usual. But some people upload a video or two to YouTube and sky rocket to fame instantly.

For every 3 millions stupid YouTube videos of "cute animals" doing "funny things" there is one legitimately talented person hiding out there amongst all the "puppy walks into a glass wall" videos. For every "Keyboard Cat" there is a Justin Bieber.

Those people are what I like to call, YouTube Stars turned Real Stars.

Justin Bieber: Before Justin Bieber was dating Disney starlets, crashing weddings, and causing little girls to experience their first anxiety attacks, Justin was just another young kid with a digital camera and a YouTube account. 12 year old Justin uploaded many videos of himself singing covers of Ne-Yo, Usher, and Brian McKnight songs, combined with his affinity for fitted caps, jerseys, and premature swag, he had the makings of pop music gold. One day, Scooter Braun, his current manager, and Usher saw the videos and the rest is history. Bieber told Hollysoop, "Yes, I started off on the internet...Three years ago I was just watching Usher on the internet. it's a crazy experience."

Soulja Boy Didn't Buy a $55 Million Jet

Last week, we were all scratching our heads about how rapper Soulja Boy afforded to buy himself a $55 million customized private jet. Well, the answer is: he didn’t.

TMZ first reported the claim, saying that Soulja Boy bought a $35 million jet and dropped another $20 million to add his own customizations. Those additions were: Italian leather seats, flat screen TVS, four bars, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

Soulja Boy has new name, it’s Soulja Has Too Much Money.

Soulja Boy just spent $55 million dollars on a private jet as a present for his 21st birthday. What are you gonna get for your 30th? An island?

While most people are struggling to put gas in their hybrid cars, Soulja Boy has spent $35 million on the G5 jet and an additional $20 million on customizing it. I mean, of course. Because if it didn’t have $20 million worth of customization, everyone would think he’s cheap.
