It's not easy seeing your recent ex move on to someone else, especially when that someone else is
Paris Hilton and it happens just weeks after you split.
Sophie Monk has stayed mum about her breakup from
Benji Madden--until now. Being ever so classy, Monk didn't badmouth her ex and man-eater Paris, buy instead she says she wishes them "the best."
"Let me make this as plain as possible – Benji did not leave me for Paris Hilton," Monk, 28, said in a statement, according to Australia's Herald Sun.
"Benji and I did not break up badly or anything like that. We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on. I feel no animosity towards Benji and Paris at all and am very happy with life at the moment."
Isn't it funny that she started her statement with, "Benji did not leave me for Paris!" You know she's only saying that because Paris is probably running around town telling everyone he did. If Hollywood is like high school Paris is the head cheerleader that everyone wants to be around but no one can stand. We predict a pregnancy announcement by Spring.
