Like us, celebs love to get loose on the biggest party night of the year, and we found out just what kind of partying they’re going to be up to. Here’s what the celebs are doing for New Year’s.
Patti Stanger has a unique and fun New Year’s Eve tradition: “We all actually do a blind champagne tasting,” Patti tells Hollyscoop. “Everyone brings a bottle we don’t know which is the expensive, which is the cheap one and we have to figure it out and we all suck at it and then I give prizes out.”

Meet her new fiancé!
Sophie just announced that she's engaged to a man 20 years her senior, Jimmy Esebag, on Australian radio station 2Day FM's breakfast show.
Monk said "I got engaged, and I kept it quiet so no-one's heard much about him." Of her new fiancé, she gushed, "He's a 'keeper'. It feels right. I think you know when you know."
And now to the juicy part. Why would she want to marry a creepy old man whose skin makes oompa loompa's look good? Maybe it has something to do with his
Bank account aside, she's probably still traumatized from her last breakup and isn't thinking straight. She allegedly caught her last boyfriend in bed with another woman. And before that she was engaged to Benji Madden right before he started dating Paris Hilton.

Back in August, they were spotted making out at the Chateau Marmont, and it looks like things are heating up again.
Spies told our friends over at Page Six that they spotted Adam and Sophie at a garden screening of "All About Eve" hosted by Martin + Osa at very the same Hollywood hotel.
According to their source, "Adam rolled up on his motorcycle and it was obvious that he was there to see Sophie. Once the film began, they cuddled on the patio...they sat extremely close and were whispering in each other's ears."
Sophie's rep did confirm to the paper that her client attended the party, but of course, would not comment on her romantic status. If you ask us, we think they make a super cute couple.

Hollyscoop caught up with Sophie at the Oakley Muscle Milk X-Games Kick Off Party at the Key Club on Wednesday night and we asked her to clear up some recent rumors regarding her love life.
In regards to reports that her and Ryan Seacrest were an item, Sophie said, “I don’t know, I don’t like talking but that stuff but he’s lovely.”
In regards to Paris Hilton and her ex fiancé Benji Madden dating, Sophie said, “This is getting heavy, I don’t know you know, good luck of course, I want happiness for everyone.”

They were set up by a mutual friend. Sophie's not wasting any time over Benji! Should we expect a Sophie Monk reality show soon? Does this mean busy Ryan is going to have less work and more play? He's always complaining about his lack of a social life on air. Whatever the case is, Sophie's a lucky girl!
Two weeks ago, Hollyscoop confirmed through Sophie's rep that she was "dating video game creator Jason Rubin." But yesterday we asked her about Sophie and Ryan to which she replied, "I don't know anything about that, sorry" Basically in publicist terms that means, 'Ya they're dating but I can't confirm it.'

Reports surfaced today on the Internet that Benji Madden’s ex fiancé Sophie Monk is currently dating Paris Hilton's ex boy toy Alex Vaggo. The rumor started when pictures surfaced of a Sophie look-a-like leaving S Bar last night with Alex in the wee hours.
Hollyscoop confirmed with Sophie’s rep that the girl in the picture (above) isn’t the Australian actress. In fact, Sophie is steering clear from the love triangle and is currently dating video game creator Jason Rubin.

It's not easy seeing your recent ex move on to someone else, especially when that someone else is Paris Hilton and it happens just weeks after you split.
Sophie Monk has stayed mum about her breakup from Benji Madden--until now. Being ever so classy, Monk didn't badmouth her ex and man-eater Paris, buy instead she says she wishes them "the best."
"Let me make this as plain as possible – Benji did not leave me for Paris Hilton," Monk, 28, said in a statement, according to Australia's Herald Sun.
"Benji and I did not break up badly or anything like that. We both decided, as adults, our relationship had run its course and decided to move on. I feel no animosity towards Benji and Paris at all and am very happy with life at the moment."
Isn't it funny that she started her statement with, "Benji did not leave me for Paris!" You know she's only saying that because Paris is probably running around town telling everyone he did. If Hollywood is like high school Paris is the head cheerleader that everyone wants to be around but no one can stand. We predict a pregnancy announcement by Spring.

Another one bites the dust! Benji Madden and his fiancé Sophie Monk have officially split. It must have been bad because her peeps made sure to release a statement confirming the split.
Monk's agent Yoon Kim said: "Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable," Kim's statement read. "This will be my only statement regarding this matter."
Monk sparked breakup rumors when she stopped wearing her engagement ring two weeks ago. So does this mean Paris is going to be the Godmother after all?
