Sofia Vergara was a big hit on Saturday Night Live last night. She opened the show in a tight black strapless mini-dress that barely contained her
gigantic boobs enthusiasm.
“Forgive me if you don’t understand what I say – and I’ll forgive you for staring at my chest the whole night,” she said during the opening monologue. Well okay.
“This country welcomed me with open arms and pulled-down pants,” she said.
She did a hilarious portrayal of Fran Drescher in a skit called “Being Quirky with Zooey Deschanel,” and a not-so-funny skit where she was a sex ed teacher. They could have done without that one.
One of the best skits she did was a Hunger Games parody with SNL veterans Bill Hader and Fred Armisen.
Sofia played Elizabeth Banks’ character Effie Trinket, complete with the outrageous wig. She grabs some of the tributes while they’re trying to go incognito so she can interview them.
At one point she grabs Everdeen, who is so annoyed by her she hands her a handful of berries. “Here, eat this,” she tells Vergara. She does. And she dies. Sorry, spoiler alert for the movie.
"The Hunger Games is brought to you by Tylenol. 'Spear in your head?' Tylenol," Hader said in a sponsored message as contestants Vergara interviewed died immediately after her segments.
