SNL's Star-Studded 100th Digital Short

Justin Bieber, Usher, Justin Timberlake, Natalie Portman, Michael Bolton, Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell… yeah it was pretty epic.

Saturday Night Live aired their 100th digital short on the May 12th episode, and they pulled out all the stops for this little musical number.

“Congratulations to us!” the show modestly asserted.

Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Justin Bieber started out in tuxedos, singing a list of things they looked forward to doing in celebration. But it didn’t take long for the song to turn vulgar…

“Tonight, tonight we’re going to suck our own (beep),” Samberg and Taccone sang.

Bieber was confused, but the song didn’t stop to explain. Things just got more unusual and more disturbing.

Flashes of sexual weirdness and celebrity cameos filled the remainder of the three and a half minute tune. Usher sang about white boys, Timberlake humped a floral vase, Portman emerged as her rapping self, assuring us she was still crazy. Michael Bolton returned as Jack Sparrow, Jon Hamm played sax without a shirt on, and everyone – and I mean everyone – “sucked their own (beep).”

“I don’t endorse this song! No, no no, no, no, noooo!” Bieber pleaded. But Ferrell sure did.

The song also made references to previous fan favorites like “Laser Cats” and “J--- in My Pants.”

The 100th Digital Short was the brainchild of comedy troupe The Lonely Island, comprised of Samberg, Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer.

Do yourself a favor and check this out if you haven’t yet. Then forward it to everyone in the office. It will ensure you coolness for the rest of the week.
