In the most talked about skit from this weekend’s ‘Saturday Night Live,” Kristen Wiig rolled onto stage trailing plumes of smoke as the infamous New Jersey “tanning mom”, Patricia Krentcil, who faces allegations she took her 5-year-old to a tanning salon.
Joining ‘Weekend Update’ host Seth Meyers in the hilarious parody, Wiig wore a dark leather jacket and an orange face. She apologized for the smoke.
“Seth, you may not know this, but some people over-tan! This is just a base tan so I don’t burn this summer.”
Myers, trying not to smile, remarked, “You say those who criticize you are fat, ugly, and jealous.”
"Yes,” Wiig insisted. “Trust me, there are many men in New Jersey that would love to snap into this Slim Jim.
After some other memorable one-liners, Wiig had one final trick for Meyers before she rolled away, involving a slice of bread that instantly became toast between her thighs. So that’s where that smoke was coming from!
Musical guest Rihanna created some drama behind the scenes of Saturday night’s live broadcast The singer called in sick for dress rehearsal, TMZ reports, forcing her choreographer to take her place in front of the studio audience. Producers for the show, who take dress rehearsals seriously, reportedly weren’t pleased. A source for TMZ says the singer had a doctor administer a shot of penicillin before she went on and a rep for the superstar said, "Rihanna was sick and needed to save her voice for the live show."
