James Franco and Kate Mara star in 127 Hours, which is about a mountain climber who gets trapped under a boulder while canyoneering alone near Moab, Utah and resorts to desperate measures in order to survive. The movie is based on the harrowing true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston.
The plot line doesn't sound too interesting, but the trailer is not that bad. We're always willing to give Danny Boyle a chance, especially since James Franco is the main star.

Boyle purchased the rights for the book last month for an undisclosed sum, according to The Wall Street Journal. Boyle used Maximum City as a resource while he was making Slumdog.
Boyle told Seattle Weekly, “Maximum City became my Bible, really. I took [the book] with me everywhere. I felt part of the time we were adapting that.”
Maximum City features multiple narratives that Mehta compiled by following some of Mumbai’s policemen, crime lords, dancers and religious figures. In it, the New York-based journalist contrasts the larger story he pulled together in India against experiences in his newfound U.S. home.
As for the stars of Boyle’s Slumdog, he desperately wants the media to stop disrupting their lives, especially Azharuddin Ismail, 10, and Rubina Ali, 9.
Boyle told The Daily Telegraph, "They are really wonderful kids who have been brought up in very difficult circumstances. It has obviously been a very difficult period, but the best possible benefit that this film could ever give them is an education and we are very, very proud that they are making progress and have passed all their exams.”
"Things are looking positive – they will be in their houses soon. I certainly hope this is the last time I have to speak to the media about Azhar and Rubina in this context."

Kapoor handed over his wages from his role to Plan India, which helps underprivileged kids in the country. And he credits his humble upbringing for the inspiration behind his donation.
He says, "I think sometimes you do a film and everyone in this film - not only me - everyone connected to it had such a positive intent when they started. I think that's the reason for its success.
"Everyone - Danny (Boyle), Christian (Colson), Simon (Beaufoy), Anthony (Mantle) - they didn't have commerce in mind, they just wanted it to be a good film. We wanted as many people to see the film as possible. I feel it's the good intent of everyone and the children's good wishes and their families that have made this film what it has become.
"I told Danny, 'I can identify with Jamal Malik.' It's almost the same thing because I started from a very simple background. Not slums exactly, but a 200 square metre cubicle with common bathrooms and I never wore shoes, always bare feet running around."
While that paycheck probably didn't make or break him, his donation will surely change many children's lives. What a great role model!

Nine different children portrayed the characters in the progression of them growing up in the film, and will all travel from India to Hollywood this weekend.
The children will have the honor of walking the red carpet alongside Patel, Pinto, and the rest of the cast attending the biggest event in Hollywood. And in addition, Danny Boyle handpicked two additional children to accompany them to walk the red carpet on Sunday.
Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail, 10, and Rubina Ali, 9, were plucked from their homes in a Mumbai slum, making this trip their first time out of India.
Fox Searchlight made all the travel and visa arrangements for the children, which is known to be a tough process in India. All the kids will also be staying in a 5-star hotel for their trip. Not a bad gig!
It’s going to be so cute to see the kids walking the red carpet on Sunday, looking all starry-eyed. Now let’s just hope Slumdog gets a whole bunch of wins!
