There’s this juicy new biography coming out soon, “Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell” and from what little nuggets of text that have leaked early, we’ve learned a lot about the smarmy UK Idol and X-Factor judge.
In one excerpt from the book, Cowell says he considered sleeping with Paula Abdul but didn’t want to because he didn’t want to make pillow talk with her!
“We would have to have a conversation afterwards, and I don’t know what we would have said,” Cowell allegedly reveals in the biography as excerpted at ABC.
When Cowell left “American Idol” to launch “The X Factor” the show replaced Paula with Jennifer Lopez, but according to Cowell, “I’ve never met her, but I can’t stand her.”
The book is written by Tom Bower, a British journalist and biographer, and it’s unauthorized. I think we’re taking all these gems of Cowell information with a grain of salt.
That being said, Simon has already talked about his weird sexual tension with Paula Abdul.
Simon revealed in an interview with ABC in December he initially didn’t get along with Paula because of “sexual tension on her part.”
Right, on “her” part. He also said that if he offered himself to Paula she would have said yes, “a million percent.”
“I considered it, but then I thought, ‘I don’t think the after would be as good as the before.’ I’d let her stay for a few hours, but then it would have to be a goodnight.”
I feel awful for any woman who has ever called herself one of Simon Cowell’s lovers.
