Wendy Williams celebrated her 500th show Wednesday and in honor of being on TV that long, she brought in a top-secret, super powerful, celebrity guest....Oprah! I’m kidding, it’s Paul Abdul. Try-and-pretend-like-its-still-cool!

However, I can’t deny that Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell’s will-they-wont-they sexual tension was the best part of "The X Factor” and I was pretty upset when they traded her out for Britney Spears and Demi whats-her-face.

Simon has publicly stated that Paula “wanted him” or whatever, but Paula finally tells her side of the story. When Wendy asks Paula
The votes are in, America has spoken. And the winner is…. Ryan Seacrest!!!!!!

The Hollywood Reporter posted their 2012 Reality Power List giving Seacrest the top spot, while his older former coworker and frenemy, Simon Cowell fell in at #8.

The Reality Power List is determined by a number of factors, including the quantity of shows one has on air and their ability to create a hit or to transform a news bit and/or sensation into a full-fledged franchise.

In the one day since Britney Spears and Demi Lovato officially announced they were joining "X-Factor," the thing we’re all thinking is…can they handle it?

It’s no surprise that both Britney and Demi had very public meltdowns. They are both former child stars who publicly hit rock bottom, went to rehab, and are now trying to regain their star status all while staying in the public eye.
The 7th season of “America’s Got Talent” premiered last night and to no-one’s surprise, the show was all about new judge Howard Stern. But did the shock jock deliver the “edge” or just fill a void left by former judge, sock puppet, Piers Morgan?

Both. Let me explain.
Welcome to 2012 where the proof is in the tweet. Britney Spears just posted the first pic of the new line-up of the judges for the upcoming season of The X Factor, which includes herself and Demi Lovato as the token newbie’s, as well as veterans Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid (no, that’s not a skinny Randy Jackson).

Simon Cowell really put his foot in his mouth by throwing around A-List names like Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson as rumored judges on "The X Factor," because now that he’s announced the actual judges, it’s pretty underwhelming.

The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that Demi Lovato is very close to inking a deal as the fourth judge on Season 2 of "The X Factor."
There’s this juicy new biography coming out soon, “Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell” and from what little nuggets of text that have leaked early, we’ve learned a lot about the smarmy UK Idol and X-Factor judge.

In one excerpt from the book, Cowell says he considered sleeping with Paula Abdul but didn’t want to because he didn’t want to make pillow talk with her!

“We would have to have a conversation afterwards, and I don’t know what we would have said.
It's out-with-the-old and in-with-the-new as Britney Spears has reportedly accepted an offer to join Simon Cowell on the X-Factor.

According to TMZ.com, Britney Spears has reportedly been offered and accepted $15 million to join the show as a judge, filing one of the two vacant seats. The final paperwork is still being passed around executive offices, but that's a pretty hefty paycheck!

Talk about a hard-core “X-Factor” fan. A 29-year-old woman named Leanne Zaloumis tried to break into Simon Cowell’s London home carrying a brick! They say the woman was an “overzealous fan” but she sounds more like a “crazy nutjob.”

Hey, maybe she just got confused on the details of the X-Factor auditions?
