Shia LaBeouf Pulls Out of Movie Because of Shattered Hand

Shia LaBeouf is still affected by the car accident he was in last July which left his hand broken in several places. The producers of Transformers 2 were able to write his injury into the script so Shia wouldn’t have to take time off to heal, but that’s not the case with his upcoming movie.

Shia was scheduled to start shooting the film Dark Fields this fall, but had to postpone it due to hand surgery. And now he’s decided to pull out of the film altogether. He’ll be forced to undergo surgery again to treat the area around his thumb.

Fox News reports that Shia has just pulled out, leaving producers having to search for another leading man. A source says, A source says, "Shia’s hand is totally shattered, it’s much worse than anyone thought."

Maybe Shia just decided he didn’t like the script after all! That hand excuse comes in handy!
