One lucky fan got more than she asked for when showing up to the taping of the
Today show this morning.
20-year old superfan Samantha was one of the hundreds of young women who showed up to Rockefeller Center today to get a glimpse of their biggest crush,
Transformers star
Shia LaBeouf.
Samantha told Matt Lauer she wanted Shia to come out of the studio, but the producers decided to one-up her, and bring her inside. They armed her with a mic and a cup of coffee, as a shaky Samantha made her way to the set to meet Shia.
We must say, he handled the impromptu situation very well, and was extremely gracious to Samantha, who looked like she was about to pee in her pants.
We almost forgot why Shia was on the
Today show this morning, which we’ll assume is to promote Transformers 2, which managed to rake in $16 million in its opening day. Not too shabby!
