Shia LaBeouf. biography
Born June 11, 1986, in Los Angeles, California, Shia LaBeouf was born to perform in part of his father Jeffrey, a professional clown, and mother Shayna, a dancer.
After experimenting with stand-up at the mere age of 10, Shia landed an agent via a phone book. Four years later, his role in the kids TV series Even Stevens (1999 – 2003) resulted in the 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Series.
That same year, Shia made his big-screen debut in Holes (2003), which officially put him on the map. From there, his career began taking off with supportive roles alongside such famous actors as Cameron Diaz in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003), Will Smith in I, Robot (2004) and Keanu Reeves in Constantine (2005).
Shia gained an additional following when he starred in the thriller drama Disturbia (2007), but got his true big break when he was cast by Michael Bay in the box-office hit Transformers (2007).
A year later, Shia found himself acting opposite Harrison Ford in Steven Spielberg’s Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull before landing the lead role in the thriller Eagle Eye.
Shia went on to reprise his role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) and Tansformers: Dark of Moon (2011), also during the time he starred alongside Michael Douglas in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010).
In 2012, Shia showed his versatility with a memorable performance in both the crime drama Lawless and the drama thriller The Company You Keep.
Shia’s most recent projects include the romantic comedy The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman (2013) with Evan Rachel Wood, the drama Nymphomaniac (2013) and the war drama Fury (2014) alongside Brad Pitt.
