Shia LaBeouf still isn't allowed to get behind the wheel of a car--which can be gruesome in a town like LA. So he's been left with no choice but to hire a full time driver.

He just lost his license for one year as a result of his July 2008 car crash. A judge suspended his license because Shia refused to take chemical tests at the scene.

Last night Hollyscoop caught up with 'Transformers' star Josh Duhamel at the 5th Annual 'Friends of El Faro Benefit' to help raise funds for the Children of Tijuana Casa Hogar Sion Orphanage.

When asked how his Transformers costar was doing after his car accident he said, "He is at his best. Shia is doing just fine."
