It’s been a few decades since John Lennon’s death, but his influence and impact remain. From rock ‘n rollers to poets to artists, Lennon is often cited as their idol.
To honor John Lennon’s death, and celebrate his life and legend, here’s what celebs have to say about the icon.
Drew Barrymore: “Anything in life, whatever your question is for the universe, if you put on a John Lennon song, he will answer you. I think ‘Watching the Wheels’ is the song I love the most, because it is so true. I completely feel like that song.”

Kathleen Sebeluis, Secretary of the US Department of Health and Human Services explained: "If 90 percent of women 40 and older received breast cancer screening, 3,700 lives would be saved each year."
This year alone, it’s estimated that more than 230,000 people will be diagnosed with the disease. Many celebs have been confronted with the disease and knocked it. To celebrate breast cancer awareness and give inspiration to the fight—we’re rounding up 7 celebs who have beat breast cancer.
Betsey Johnson: Betsey Johnson loves pink.

Denise Richards just adopted an adorable baby girl born in the USA named Eloise Joni. What other famous mom and dads have added to their clans?
Angelina Jolie is most famous for adopting and always expanding the Jolie-Pitt clan. She adopted Maddox from Cambodia in 2002, Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005...

James Cameron: Make Your Household Green: James told Hollyscoop, “Everything in our household is green, it’s the way we teach our kids. We have organic gardens, we do the recycling. We do the energy efficiency, we drive the hybrid vehicles. Everybody should do that--that is not the most important thing, the most important thing is to understand the issues and vote. Vote no on Prop 23, understand that climate change is a major threat to the planet and our kids.”
Jennifer Aniston: Multitask “I take a three-minute shower. I even—brush my teeth while in the shower."
It takes me about ten minutes of being in the shower before I even wake up. If she can manage to pull it off, more power to her. Because a ten minute long shower uses about 42 gallons of water. With the average household taking 1,000 showers per year, that's a lot of wasted water.

Now she is showing her commitment to breast cancer patients and survivors with her brand new facility that opened today in LA. The Sheryl Crow Imaging Center features state-of-the-art digital screening and diagnostic technologies for the detection of breast cancer.
Crow said in a statement, "Joining forces with the Pink Lotus Breast Center has provided me with a wonderful platform to create awareness and encourage the millions of American women over 40 to get their annual mammogram.”
The brand-new facility is part of the Pink Lotus Breast Center, the country's first complex dedicated exclusively to the prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
"Detecting breast cancer early is a woman's best chance at survival, and digital full-field mammography is the gold standard of early detection,” she added.
So inspiring! Crow is now cancer-free and a mom to two little boys. She’s living proof that breast cancer can be curable!

Crow, who just released her seventh studio album 100 Miles from Memphis on July 20, has been monitoring stars like Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera to figure out how they sell so many albums and the secrets in the their vagina.
In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, the singer was told that “the big thing now for female singers is glowing vaginas. Christina Aguilera performed a song on the [MTV Movie Awards], and at the end the camera zoomed in on her crotch, and it was a flashing neon heart.”
“Wow,” Crow responded. “I don’t even know what to say. How do I miss out on some of this stuff? I had no idea you could have a glowing vagina. Is it too late for me to get one of those? And would it help my record sales?
“As soon as we hang up, I’m going to check it out and see where I can get a glowing vagina. I have a record coming out, I don’t want people to think my vagina isn’t glowing.”
Gotta love her sense of humor! But don't worry Sheryl, Christina's vagina couldn't glow bright enough to help her record sales. Her record company is reportedly super disappointed in the lack of sales. So maybe you should consider dressing up like Lady Gaga instead.

In a surprise announcement on her website, Sheryl told fans that she's adopted another little boy. Aww!
"I have some exciting news to share with you guys," Sheryl wrote on her official Web site Friday, "Wyatt has a new little brother! Levi James was born April 30."
Sheryl Crow: Courteney Cox Helped Me Get Through Cancer
This is Sheryl's second adoption. She adopted adorable little Wyatt back in May 2007. “The day he came home (on April 30), I felt like the whole house had changed. The house felt fuller,” she said at the time.
Little Levi James was born exactly three years ago to the day that Sheryl first became a mom. So excited for her! Congrats Sheryl!

According to People magazine, Aniston flew a large group of pals including Butler, Courteney Cox, her husband David Arquette and Sheryl Crow to the One & Only Palmilla resort Thursday evening where the group is staying in a beautiful waterfront villa.
Aniston and Gerard were super flirty with each other while at the Golden Globe awards together last month, so it looks like there may be something there after all!
Hey they're both super sexy and very single, so why not?!

The women showed up as guest hosts to the OmniPeace event with founder Mary Fanaro, having one goal in mind: "Stamp Out Violence Against Women and Girls of the Congo."
Courteney Cox, Jen, and Sheryl Crow all spoke up about their dedication to last night’s event, which was also attended by Demi Moore, Marisa Tomei, and Nicole Richie.
Nicole told People about her new outlook, saying, "I'm all about making people aware and showing them what the problem is. It's impossible to turn your back on something like this. It's really hard to complain about anything when you hear the stories of these women and children and their torture."
Jennifer said, "I am extremely lucky. But these women and girls need help – it makes you think." Courteney continued, "We can do something about this. I want to bring awareness to this."
Sheryl Crowe added, "I know I have a responsibility. As a mom, the biggest thrill for me, but most humbling role is raising my kid as a humanitarian. I want him to grow up feeling he can do something for people less fortunate."
Last night’s event was held at STK in Los Angeles, and was sponsored by Kitson, who provided adorable shirts for the ladies to wear in support of the cause.
OmniPeace will donate 25 percent of the profits from the sale of the T-shirts to UNICEF & V-Day Foundation to build the City of Joy, a rehabilitation center and safe community for Congolese women girls. Tees are available on www.shopkitson.com for $78.
