Whoopi Goldberg opened up the conversation about the controversial word when discussing it being used at one of Rick Perry’s properties. Apparently, Perry was part of a hunting club, and one of their properties was named after the N-Word.
“When the candidate, Herman Cain, talked about how radically insensitive it was, he didn’t use ‘The N-Word’, which is I guess what we’re supposed to be saying now,” Whoopi explained. “I just use the word,” she said, after saying it in front of the audience, who cringed a bit.
“I find it so interesting that you did [just use the word], Barbara Walters chimed in, throwing around the N-word a few times to describe the situation.

I know, it took me a while to fathom, too.
The View returned to ABC in its 15th season on Tuesday, and while the show was on hiatus, both Sherri Shepherd and Joy Behar tied the knot. Joy and her longtime partner, Steve Janowitz, married after dating for 29 years. I guess it was getting serious. Behar gave a top ten list of reasons for marrying Janowitz. “Joy is expecting twins” was number one.

She’s a co-host on The View, she recently lent her voice for Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa and now she is creating a new comedy series for Lifetime.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series which is loosely based on her own experiences is about a wife (Shepherd) who accepts her husband's infidelity and his illegitimate child and allows the child and the other woman to move in with them. That's rough!
It’s nice to see that Sherri has put all her troubles behind her and is able to turn her past personal troubles into a comedy for television. We all know what she went through was definitely not an easy thing for anyone to go through.

A show insider tells In Touch magazine that Sherri is being considered for the upcoming season, and Sherri couldn’t be more thrilled! She tells the mag, “I’d love to do that show — I am such a fan!”
But we’re not sure if she’s doing it for the dancing or for the men! Sherri said, “Oh, my goodness! I am so in love with Maksim, but he’s engaged! And Tony Dovolani’s married! I mean, they’re all freakin’ taken! I just want to get a ‘pas doble’ with somebody on that show!”
We think Sherri would be perfect on the show! She’s definitely got the personality for it. She also looks amazing right now, after losing all that weight, and there’s no better way than DWTS to keep the pounds off!
