Sharon Stone made a not so smart statement while on the red carpet in Cannes. She was asked if she had heard about the disaster that hit China recently, and her answer was:

"Of course I have. Well you know at first I thought I'm not happy with the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans….and I've been concerned with should we have the Olympics because they're not being nice to the Dalai Lama who's a good friend of mine. And then all this earthquake and stuff happened and I thought, 'Is that Karma, when you're not nice and the bad things happen to you?'"

Well that's one way of looking at things, Sharon. Although, we don't think most people agree with that way of thinking. She tried redeeming her comment afterwards but you can't take what you said back.

What she just said about the China earthquake just showed what her true colors are, and how narrow minded and un-educated she is. The earthquake happened in a tibetan and qiang minority autonomous county, and naturally, many of the victims are tibetan chinese, so are many rescuers. What Karma to speak of? There is only the ill-will and inhumane curses from S Stone. The gov't and the rest of China helped no matter what people the victims are, and you can see from reports and photos from the quake zone, the minorities, including tibetan chinese, expressed their heartfelt thanks to the soldiers and all. True kind people, or self exclaimed righteous and buddhism follower, would mourn the loss of any life, even ants'. Being of friend of Dalai Lama does not mean S Stone is better than she truely is. And to that "Bill" person above, wise up please, the victims are as innocent as they can ever be and are at the mercy of nature, not the so called "Karma", and lighten up, many victims are tibetan chinese.
