Although DJ AM "was completely terrified and traumatized" from the tragic plane crash, he was conscious long enough to call his mother from the ambulance to let her know what had happened.

While Travis suffered burns from the waist down, DJ AM suffered severe burns to his face. He is currently in a doctor-induced coma so he can "undergo skin grafts in an attempt to repair some of the extensive burn damage," reports Us Weekly.
