You know what, Justin Bieber? The U.S. has given you a lot. Love, respect, a career.

And now you're doing us the ultimate favor by procreating in Canada.

The 17 year-old pop star was born in London, Ontario and grew up in Stratford, Ontario (For those of you who failed geography, those are places in Canada). And Bieber says although he likes it in the States, when he's older, he's planning on moving back. Oh, but he still wants to have a house in Los Angeles. Of course.

"I think it would be cool to get a condo out [in L.A.], but eventually I'll probably want to move back to Canada and raise my family," Beiber said. "Why? I dunno, I'm Canadian, I feel like I want my kids to be Canadian."

Say what you will about Bieber, but he's smart enough to know one thing: the world hates Americans.
Poor Shania Twain!

She was having such a great day yesterday by announcing her new Vegas gig, but that’s until the nasty fall at the 2011 CMT Awards last night.

Shania ate it real bad when she walked on stage to present Blake Shelton with his award for Male Video of the Year.

Shania Twain must have been in a hurry to become a Mrs. again because just weeks after she announced her engagement to Swiss businessman Frederic Thiebaud, they got hitched.

Shania and Frederic said "I Do" in Puerto Rico on New Year's Day in front of 40 of their closest friends and family members.

Her representative told People magazine: "They were married at sunset in Rincon, Puerto Rico, in front of 40 of their closest family and friends."

Shortly after the ceremony Shania took to her blog to confirm the news. She said: "2010 is leaving me with a renewed faith in love and commitment. ... Talking about love, I am excited to share some personal news with you; I'm in love! Frederic Nicolas Thiebaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship. Fred and I are happy to announce, our ENGAGEMENT! (sic)"

Shania's had a dramatic filled couple of years. Her 14-year marriage to Robert Lange ended in May 2008 after he was caught having an affair with Frederic's ex-wife Marie-Anne Thiebaud.

They literally switched spouses and moved on with their lives. Kind of random, but hey, that's Hollywood for ya! Congrats!

Congratulations to Shania Twain, who is engaged! The singer is reportedly engaged to Frederic Thiebaud, according to Us Magazine.

Apparently he popped the question a couple of months ago while they were in Switzerland. "I've never seen Shania so happy," said a friend of hers.

Well, if anyone deserves to be happy, it’s Shania! As you might recall, her husband left her in 2008 for her best friend—some chick named Marie-Anne Theibaud. And yes, it isn’t just a coincidence—that’s Frederic’s ex-wife.

To make it less confusing, here’s what went down: Shania’s husband of 14 years, Robert “Mutt” Lange, decided to leave her. He denied he was having an affair with Marie-Anne. But in the meantime, Shania and Frederic got pretty close, and ended up coming clean about their relationship a year later.

They played the ole swap spouses game! Seems to have worked out for Shania—no word on how Mutt and Marie are doing…

Congrats to Shania!

Jennifer Lopez was too big of a diva for American Idol, but it seems that had a plan B.

A.I. is now reportedly in talks with Shania Twain to fill J.Lo's demanding shoes.

Shania was on this past season when she served as guest judge and mentor and to put it nicely...she kind of sucked at it.

What is going on with Idol? We're hearing new stories of judges every day and it's starting to get real old, real quick!

Instead of Shania, they should look into getting Mariah Carey. She's already expressed interest in the job and her hubby Nick Cannon is ready to petition for her to get the gig.

"You know what? She talks about it. She says, 'I would love to do that.' She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great," Nick Cannon told The Hollywood Reporter of Mariah, who guest-mentored "Idol" contestants back in 2008. "I don't know if she has enough time, though, but if they could work with her schedule, I know she would love to do 'Idol.' Let's start the campaign!"

Who do you think should join Idol? Jennifer Lopez, Shania or Mariah?
Another next guest judge has been brought in to fill in on American Idol until the producers find a replacement for Paula Abdul. According to E!, Shania Twain will be taking the hot seat for two days, helping out Simon, Randy, and Kara with the Chicago auditions this week.

Shania joins Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, and Mary J. Blige as the known short list of substitutes on the first season without Paula. The rumors Jessica Simpson would be guest judging have been denied.

As for the long run, Idol producers say they’re still planning on maintaining the four-judge format they introduced last season, although no names have yet been announced to take over the position permanently.

It would be so much easier just to have Paula come back to the position! Is $10 million really that bad of a salary?! Come on Paula!
Shania Twain is ready to tell her fans how she feels about the divorce she's going through right now.

She writes:

"To my beloved fans:

As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life. I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength. Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life.

I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love. I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey.

I need some time to heal this broken heart but make no mistake; I will be back and hopefully stronger than ever.

Thank you my friends, from the bottom of my heart.

Love Shania "

She seems so sincere and heartbroken, you can't help but feel sorry for her! We wish her the best through this tough time.
