Shakira Ashamed Of Going Nude For Film

Shakira was supposed to make her big acting debut in the film “Love in the Time of Cholera” but quickly pulled out because she was ashamed of going nude.

She claimed it was due to scheduling conflicts but the producer of the film, Scott Steindorff says otherwise. He tells the LA Times that she didn’t want to bare all and that is what the movie entailed.

Shakira says that she wants her acting debut to be carefully planned out because failure is not an option.

She says, "The script, the character, the director, it all has to come together to assure me that I'll be protected.

"I have a responsibility to my public, so I don't want to get into something that could fail."

Shakira however, did write and record the soundtrack for the film.
