Seth Rogen: I'm Glad I Don't Get High Before Interviews

When you’re the highest paid TV star on television, it’s probably not a good idea to go on a national press tour bashing your boss. It’s pretty much the unwritten law in town—but Charlie Sheen has never really played by the rules.

Funny guy Seth Rogen has never been a fan of Two and a Half Men, in fact he’s “literally never seen it,” but he knows burning bridges is always a bad idea—thanks to his own boss Judd Apatow.

“[Judd] was really scary back then. I was very intimidated about [working] him back then, but its not so much that way anymore. Back then he was the first boss I never really had a job before,” Seth told Hollyscoop at the Paleyfest 2011 presents 'Freaks & Geeks: Undeclared' at the Saban Theatre Los Angeles, California. “As a boss he was scary, you know?”

The fear may be gone, but he still has the utmost respect for Judd, something Chuck Lorre never got from Charlie.

“I don’t think by any means that I would the type of career I have without these shows. In a very direct way and in an indirect way. I learned a lot from both of them and I literally still work with a lot of the same people.”

So how is Seth avoiding becoming the next Charlie? “I don’t know. I’m just glad I don’t get that high before I do interviews.”

Us too Seth, us too.
