I know what you’re thinking. That guy? Yes, the dude who smokes pot professionally and has a laugh that sounds like a whale choking underwater is someone’s husband.
Hollywood has wedding fever, and funnyman Seth Rogen has wed his longtime girlfriend Lauren Miller. Lauren is a writer and has made many cameos in Rogen’s films such as “Superbad,” “Observe and Report” and “Zack and Miri Make a Porno.”
The Jewish ceremony was officiated by a female rabbi and took place at Kunde Estate in Sonoma, California.
The wedding guests were basically just a cast-list for every R-Rated comedy ever. Adam Sandler, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, director-producer Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann were all in attendance.
A source tells Us Weekly, “The wedding was more laughs than anything else. Every other line was a joke and the crowd couldn’t contain their laughter. It was nonstop fun!”
This wedding actually sounds like a premise for a Judd Apatow film – Seth Rogen stars in “Wedding Weekend” a raunchy romp through the craziest wedding of his life! Nonstop fun! The stoner movie of the decade!
Anyways, the wedding lasted three days and after Seth and Lauren exchanged vows they drove off in a convertible to another spot on the property for the reception. I really hope Jonah Hill was driving the convertible.
Rogen proposed about a year ago and told Conan last November, how he popped the question.
After buying the ring Rogen claimed it felt like he was buying heroine. “Literally, I felt like someone had given me like a truckload of heroin to hold onto, I felt like the feds were going to kick in my door at any second,” he said. “I couldn’t have a conversation with my girlfriend. All I could think of was this ring. Like, ‘Don’t say ‘Lord of the Rings!’ Don’t mention anything about a ring!”
Because he was freaking out about the ring, he just proposed on the spot, while Lauren was changing in the closet.
“I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this. No little girl is like ‘It’ll happen in a closet with my [chest] out.’”
The couple met in 2004 when Rogen was a staff writer on “The Ali G Show.” The got engaged last September.
Back when they were just dating, Seth Rogen joked, “I have a girlfriend who is far prettier than I should have.”
He also says their relationship is built on their mutual love for “[sitting around] and playing Nintendo. We watch ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ together,” says Rogen.
