Ricky Gervais To Appear On Sesame Street

The hysterical Ricky Gervais has just landed himself a role on a show you probably wouldn’t expect him to be on. Sesame Street! He won’t be the first celeb to appear on the kids show. David Beckham, Jessica Alba, and Robert De Niro have all sidled up next to Bert and Ernie for cameos.

Ricky writes on his website, "I’ve been asked to do Sesame Street - there are some things you don’t turn down."

And he’s got some star power of his own coming to do cameos on his show Extras. Ricky has invited Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas, and Al Pacino to appear on the show. They’ll be playing themselves alongside Ricky’s struggling actor character.
