Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner have been spending an awful lot of time together lately. But don’t go getting the wrong idea, because they are not a couple!

Selena made sure to emphasize her single status at the 20th annual A Time for Heroes Celebrity Carnival to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.

She told Extra, “I’m single. Definitely single.”

In response to People magazine coming out with annual list of the most beautiful people, People Espanol has come out with a list of their own. And several Hollywood A-listers made the cut, including Eva Longoria, Ricky Martin, and Selena Gomez.

Selena Gomez has been named the latest celebrity Unicef spokesperson. She was hired for the organization’s 2008 trick-Or-Treat campaign, which encourages children to help the peers who are worse off than they are around the world. This is the campaign’s 58th year.
