But now it’s Bristol’s turn to shine. The teen has reportedly scored a guest-starring role on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She’ll play herself, and befriend the lead character Amy as a member of a music program for teen mothers on an episode expected to air when the series returns for its third season this summer.
Bristol said in a statement, “I am thrilled to be on this show and to be a part of a program that educates teens and young adults about the consequences of teen pregnancy.”
The show is just as excited to have Bristol on board for a guest appearance. Series executive producer Brenda Hampton remarked in a statement, “Bristol Palin is the most famous teenage mother in America. We’re thrilled to have her join us, and I think she will bring additional attention to the issues facing teen parents that we’ve been exploring for a couple of seasons now.”
Well, if Bristol is going to land a TV gig, this is probably the most appropriate show for her to be on! Her appearance will air later this year.

But ABC Family had no doubt about renewing this show. VP of Programming Kate Juergens says, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager has really struck a chord not just with our Millennial audience, but with viewers across the board. The success of this show goes directly to creator Brenda Hampton's telling of this heartfelt story and is backed by the standout performances of our talented cast."
The show has had record ratings since it premiered last summer. Let’s see if they can match those numbers the second time around! And now that Molly Ringwald is pregnant in real life, and they’re writing it into her storyline, things should get good!

Hollyscoop caught up with Molly's co-star Daren Kagasoff on the red carpet at the 'He's Just Not That Into You' movie premiere in Los Angeles this week to find out if Molly's pregnancy will be apart of the show.
"I think so," said Daren. "There was talk that they were going to write that in, but I don’t know if they’re going to go with it," he told Hollyscoop exclusively.
"It’s really exciting news. I’m so happy for her, I found out while I was getting my makeup done and right before we started shooting," he added.
Mother and daughter pregnant at the same time? Sounds a little too Sarah Palin-ish for us, but I guess we'll have to wait and see how it unfolds on TV!

"He makes Joan Crawford look like Mother Teresa." So says one Chris Keslar of his bossy dearest — realty maven Jeff Lewis. Last week, Chris was taxed to the max over Jeff's incessant demands, commands and reprimands, so he finally called it quits. There's fallout from Chris' departure in tonight's Season 2 finale, which should bring down the house. Not only must Jeff conduct interviews with potential employees, but he finally sells his very own house — leaving him homeless — and rushes to finish his Encino remodeling job. With all this reality-realty stress, Jeff just might vent out with the mother of all flip-outs.

Meanwhile, when Amy doesn't show up for school, rumors spread that she took off in order to "take care of her problem."
