Sean Penn Visits Venezuela For Second Time

October 20, 2008
by:
 Bridget Daly

Sean Penn is in Venezuela visiting President Hugo Chavez for the second time. He accompanied Chavez during the inspection of a natural gas pipeline on Sunday.

This was Penn’s second visit to Venezuela in a little over a year. The first time he visited was in August 2007, when he went as a freelance journalist.

Chavez has praised Penn for his criticism of the U.S. war in Iraq. Chavez has hosted visits by several Hollywood stars including actors Danny Glover and Kevin Spacey. Naomi Campbell also visited last year, expressing support for Chavez's efforts to help the poor. Let’s hope some good comes out of this meeting!

Sean Penn is a what is referred to as a "useful idiot" By supporting Chavez Penn is endorsing Chavez's outrageous human rights abuses. Chavez has done nothing for the poor.(except when the camera's are rolling.) Hatred of George W Bush causes people to do stupid things. Sean, stick to what you know...fantasy.
