Sean Penn made headlines earlier this week after he was charged with battery and assault, but on a positive note, he was also busy saving lives!
Penn was on a rescue mission in Haiti and saved an orphaned child and a woman badly injured in a collapsed building during a small aftershock yesterday.
After he helped rescue them he personally drove them to the University of Miami hospital camp in the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince and stayed there until they were treated for their injuries.
After they were treated he drove them back to their home. He said: “We have to save Haiti. Relocation is, right now, the primary focus."
He also said he may pull out of the 'Three Stooges' movie because he’s “not in a very funny state of mind right now.” It's so great that he's putting his personal life and career on hold to help those in need. Kudos to Sean!
