Scarlett Johansson was looking extra good on the red carpet today. Maybe it was the light reflecting off her shiny, brand new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Black Widow star posed for cameras in a fitted black and white patterned dress and red lipstick. Fans outside of Madame Tussaud’s wax museum cheered as Johansson placed both hands on the sidewalk and smiled proudly with her sparkling tile.
Johansson was presented with a matching plaque before taking to the podium.
"There's not a day that goes by that I don't feel like the luckiest person in the world to have the job that I love," Johansson announced to the gathered crowd.
Supporting Johansson at the event were her mother, grandmother, and Avengers co-star Jeremy Renner.
“For six months, she continuously threw me around, beat me, stepped on me and wiped the floor with my dignity and self-respect every day—all with a smile on her face," Renner joked on the mic. "Now, finally, I get to step on you, sweetheart."
Damn, that guy’s got game…
Avengers opens in US theaters on Friday, May 2. As of yesterday, The Marvel blockbuster has already grossed healthy $180 million worldwide.
Despite what one can only expect is an equally healthy paycheck, Johansson will remain overworked for a while still. According to E! News, she only has one three-day weekend off through the whole summer.
Looks like everyone wants a piece of the new blonde bombshell in Hollywood.
