I agree with Matt's comments, Sarah Palin does not need to be Vice President when she could only be a heartbeat away from being President of the United States. Family and experience aside, her ideas and her history, which helps form her ideas are not good for all of the people of the the country.

I completely agree with Damon. The thought of Palin being the president of the U.S. is downright frightening. A "small-town hockey mom who is just like everybody else" should not be charged with leading the most powerful country in the world. I don't want a "regular" person running the country; I want someone who is better than the average person, someone extraordinary, to run the country. Can you imagine hockey mom Palin having meetings with the heads of Russia, Pakistan, Iraq, etc.? What a joke. America is a great country and I'm proud to be an American, but over the past 8 years under the current administration, America has done little to be proud of and has tarnished its relations with the rest of the world. As for Matt Damon's comments about Sarah Palin's experience...how has what he has said not make Obama less qualified than Palin to lead this country? Why are liberals everywhere treating Obama like he is some kind of god, when he hasn't actually done ANYTHING except talk. Palin has much more executive experience and makes tough decisions that affect the lives of thousands of people on a daily basis. Also, I am much more afraid of Obama's inability to stand up to Putin and the rest of the world than Sarah Palin, IF she were to become president. Everyone keeps touting Palin's "executive" experience. Aside from being a PTA mom and the governor of one of America's smallest states (by population) with no income tax.. what has she done? Seriously?! What has she DONE? She has not met with any heads of foreign states, she's been out of the country ONCE. Great. I am sure she will be just dandy with Iran. Maybe Obama isn't EXPERIENCED... but he's Harvard educated and had the sense to pick Joe Biden. By the way... anyone see ABC's intetrview with Palin. SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE BUSH DOCTRINE WAS. I bet Biden and Obama do.

Chloe and many others obama for change people I agree with you!!! I'm from europe and to watch as on outsider what's going on there with bush, mccain and palin... it's like a freak show. if someone like palin will be a v.p. it's gonna be a huge mistake to people in us. I can't believe that someone like palin and her opinions has got so far in politics... without someone saying: Your a lunatic.
