Sandra Bullock adopted adorable Louis Bardo Bullock in 2010, and she’s ready to add another addition to her family.
“Sandra has always planned to have more than one child,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.
"She feels that now is a good time for a new baby to be welcomed into the family. Louis is a little young to understand that he is going to be a big brother, but Sandy is trying to get him ready for the transition.”
Even when you’re a celebrity, adoption is not an easy process. Louis was born in January 2010 in New Orleans, but four years before he was even in this world, Sandra and her then-husband, Jesse James, had begun the adoption process.
Sandra chose to keep the adoption private until after the Oscars. Sadly, after the Oscars, Bullock announced her split with serial cheater Jesse. Happily, she then announced her adoption.
"It took her about 18 months to finally get Louis and there is no time table as to when she will get the second child,” the source revealed. “Sandy's adoption lawyer has told her it could take up to a year to complete the process.”
So is she hoping for a brother or sister for little Louis?
“She doesn't care whether or not it's a boy or girl. She just wants a healthy baby."
Either way, Bullock will love the new addition. She’s thoroughly enjoying motherhood as it is. "It’s made me a better person. I really appreciate where I am,” the actress has said.
"She has no plans to adopt at this time," a rep for the Blind Side actress, 47, tells Us Weekly.
