Congratulations to Sandra Bullock who is making history with her latest movie!
Her film The Blind Side has made over $200 million, making it the first female-starring film to cross that mark at the box office.
According to Variety, in its seventh week in theaters, the film earned $208.5 million in box office sales. She’s beaten out some of the top dogs in Hollywood, like Reese Witherspoon and Julia Roberts, who haven’t accomplished something so big.
And Warner Brothers thinks this is just the beginning for this film. "And we're not even done," said Dan Fellman, WB president of domestic distribution. "I think Blind Side has another $30 million left."
Sandra has been the female star in countless films, like Miss Congeniality, Crash, and more recently the Proposal. But it’s great to see what she can do on her own, blowing everyone out of the water!
