Samantha Who?

Christina Applegate isn’t taking no for an answer! She’s trying anything she can to save her show Samantha Who? which just got axed from the ABC lineup.

For the past week, Christina has been using the celeb-friendly Twitter to ask fans for help in bringing her show back to life. In one Tweet, she wrote, “I am getting a ton of grief for my shameless plugging. Silly. I say why the heck not. I have time on my hands now.”

Call it silly, but other shows have been saved by fan petitions before. So anything is possible! Chuck, Jericho, and Friday Night Lights have all been brought back by fan appreciation, so don’t count Samantha Who? out of the running!

Since her first Tweet on 21st, Christina has acquired over 6000 followers, and she’s not stopping there. She says, “Ultimate goal 1 million. Save Samantha trending topic. Crazy? yes. Impossible? Anything is possible.”

And Christina isn’t left doing all the dirty work. Her fans are right there with her, and have created an online petition, which already has 13,000 signatures! Christina has shown her appreciation, writing, “I have to say, I have never felt so supported. I'm moved by all of you. Had no idea that you all were out there! xo.”

Would you like to see a third season of Samantha Who? If so click http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?sw2000 " target="_blank">here to sign the petition!
Bad news for Christina Applegate! Samantha Who? has been canceled! And she was having such a good month, being named People’s Most Beautiful Person of 2009.

But her happiness has been sidelined for the moment as ABC has decided not to renew Christina’s show next year. According to Variety, ABC has canceled the show due to economic reasons. A source close to the show said the network was looking to cut $500,000 per episode and had considered possibly switching from multi-camera to just one.

But other sources say that ABC’s 10 new shows they have lined up may have played a part in the cancellation. Plus, ratings dropped when Samantha Who? switched from Monday to Thursday nights.

It’s too bad, because that show was really good! And it’s much better than a lot of show on that network that have gotten picked back up. Hopefully Christina can do just that—pick up the pieces and get another gig!

Gossip Girl @ 8pm
Willa Holland stirred up trouble as Marissa's little sister on The O.C., and now she's arrived to do the same thing on Gossip Girl as Agnes, a young model who befriends Jenny. Just as things seem to be on track for Little J, Agnes convinces her to tap into her wild side and have some fun, and she also motivates her to stand up to Eleanor at work. Meanwhile, Serena meets a new guy, an artist named Aaron Rose, and the two of them click instantly. As for Chuck and Blair: Like he told her last week, now it's time for her to chase him.

Heroes @ 9pm
Last week's episode left several characters in perilous positions as Nathan and Tracy were captured by a much-changed Suresh, and Peter's reunion with his dear old dad left him trapped and — even worse — stripped of his powers. Needless to say, Mamma Petrelli is not pleased by Peter's abduction and asks Sylar to go after his brother. In guest-star news, Kristen Bell returns tonight as the electrifying Elle.

Samantha Who? @ 9:30pm
It's good news and bad news for Sam in this episode. The good news: a clinical trial for a new medication enables her to regain some memory fragments. The bad news: what she remembers is what a cast-iron beeyatch she was. Meanwhile, Andrea is insulted when she and Dena are mistaken for a lesbian couple. It's not that she takes being thought gay as a slur. She just insists she could have a much hotter partner if she were.

Raising the bar @ 10pm
The overly familiar courtroom drama's freshman season begins winding down (the finale airs next week) with idealistic public defender Jerry Kellerman going full court: He defends an HIV-positive man leveled with attempted murder charges for spitting at a police officer. Making matters worse is Jerry's legal opponent, an overbearing, self-important DA from the Major Crimes Unit. And here comes da judge: Judge Kessler invites Charlie along for a trip to Italy.

Cancer? What cancer? Christina Applegate is already back at work on the set of 'Samantha Who?'

A rep for Applegate said she will be "on a normal shooting schedule," adding that the procedure "is not affecting production."

An ABC rep confirms: "They're on a scheduled hiatus and she'll be back next month. It's business as usual."

It's so great to know that she's already back on track, but she really should take things slow. She just had a life altering experience.

Meanwhile, Hodgins looks for the right time to propose to Angela, but finds that popping the question is no slam dunk.

I Love New York 2 @ 9pm
We are getting closer to the end....you know before the batch of new realities pleasures come out including The Girls Next Door and much anticipated Rock of Love 2. Last week, you really saw just how terrible NY's mom can be as she instigated many fights in the house and turned off every single parent. I am sure Entertainer's family is glad he got the cut because those two households would have never worked. I really can't see Sister Patterson getting along with anyone or liking any of the choices for her daughter. Getting along with NY is hard enough!! Tonight will be the deciding factor on who makes it to the finale. I can't imagine Buddha not making it- he's so adorable and doesn't take NY's crap either. My guess is Punk will get the boot! What do you think??

Samantha Who? @ 9pm
Ahh, the sweet freedom of having a driver's license! I'm sure most of us can recall that glorious day when mom and pop handed over the keys to the family car and gave us the classic speech about trust and responsibility. If you're anything like me, then you can also recall the moment you broke that trust by telling a little white lie about how that dent found its way onto the bumper of the car a short time later(whoops!) Last week, that's exactly what happened to Sam and her parents. I think this show is a hit because it's like going down memory lane for a lot of the audience as Sam has many of her firsts. Two weeks ago, Samantha's mom set her up on a blind date with the contractor who was refinishing her floors. Luckily for Sam, the guy's played by noted TV hottie Eddie Cibrian from Third Watch and Invasion. Tonight Sam's falling hard and fast for him. Will she scare him away?

Dexter @ 10pm
Catch up on the final two episodes of Dexter and his possible demise as our unknown killer! It's crazy how the show has transgressed since last season, with Dexter now having all his secrets revealed. Tonight, Dexter contemplates turning himself in to end all the lying and chasing he has been doing to keep up appearances. Lila is proving to be a true she-devil as she frames Angel for slipping her a Roofie -the date rape drug- and raping her after she fell unconscious. As Dex pleads with her to drop the charges, she finds out where his cabin in the everglades is (who's housing Doakes). Don't miss the grizzly alligator scene...totally awesome and scary!

The Hills @ 8pm - 11pm
This is it! The last episode before LC goes on break to film some more...because you know we are loving ourselves some Hills! Over the weekend a feature length catch up on Lauren's journey from Laguna to the hills was broadcast, and it was great! It really filled me in on earlier episodes of Lauren's life and the transgression of Heidi's friendship, her relationship with Jason, and her internship at Teen Vogue. Tonight coverage of the red carpet event at Area in L.A. as they are hosting the screening of the finale. Amazing that it has come to this...we are addicted. The previous three episodes are also being shown between 8pm and 10pm with the finale starting at 10. And some more chit chat on what happens in the Aftershow at 10:30pm. Make sure to tune into Hollyscoop tomorrow to hear all the gossip and drama sure to be present tonight as the cast are partying in the same spot!
