Samantha Ronson Settles Lawsuit

Until Friday, DJ Samantha Ronson and celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton had been stuck in a bitter legal battle over a defamation suit dating back to 2007.

Last summer, Lindsay Lohan's 'gal pal', Samantha unsuccessfully attempted to sue Perez Hilton for libel.

She claimed that one of his scandalous blog posts falsely labeled her as being responsible for the cocaine found in Lindsay's possession by police. She believed that the post somehow ruined her reputation.

In January, the case was tossed out by a judge and Sam was ordered to pay the $87,000 legal bills incurred by Perez. This Friday, she finally sent him the check. Do you think it came from Lilo's checking account?
