Samantha Ronson Not Seeking Restraining Order

We're not sure if she had a change of heart, or if the whole situation was just blown out of proportion, but Samantha Ronson won't be seeking a restraining order against ex girlfriend Lindsay Lohan, because she doesn't feel like she's in danger.

Earlier this week Beverly Hills cops confirmed that Sam's family members asked about a restraining order following the couple's recent breakup, but Sam's attorney, David Bass, tells People: "Samantha has no plan to request a restraining order. There is no basis for one."

A source close to the DJ added: "Sam does not want a restraining order against Lindsay Lohan. Sam had nothing to do with the restraining order against Lindsay that the police are talking about."

Adds the source: "Sam and Lindsay are broken up, but Sam does not feel she's in any danger whatsoever. She thinks the whole thing is absurd. "

Sam's family probably had enough of their volatile relationship and wanted Lindsay out of Sam's life for good, and what better way to do it then with a restraining order?

Lindsay was reportedly "devastated" over the idea of the restraining order, so it's probably a good thing Sam isn't going through with it, Lilo doesn't exactly sound very stable right now, so who knows what she would have done to herself if she was served!
