2013 SAG Awards Winners List

The SAG Awards is a great indicator of who will win the Oscar. In past years, the film to take home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by A Cast In A Motion Picture has gone on to win the Oscar for Best Picture. The point I’m making is it’s okay if you didn’t watch the SAG Awards, just watch the Oscars next month if people are talking about the SAG awards, just throw around phrases like “Ben Affleck snubbed” and “I really gotta start watching ‘Homeland,’”

Tonight’s list of nominees reads exactly like every other awards show this season, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence’s names are getting lots of praise, Anne Hathaway and the rest of Les Miserables are getting tons of love, and Django Unchained is still getting totally snubbed.

But unlike the Oscars, the SAG awards gives love to the homely mole-people of television. I’m kidding, TV is looking a lot more glamorous than film nowadays. The cast of “Modern Family” will turn out for the event as they do every awards season, alongside all the former movie-actors who are now doing TV (i.e. Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, Claire Danes etc.

Enough of that, here’s who won:
