The Oscars was definitely a fun-filled show last night. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin were received well as co-hosts, Ben Stiller managed to make James Cameron laugh, and there were even a couple “upsets!” Hollyscoop talked the stars on the red carpet for Drai’s post-Oscar bash at the W Hotels to find out their stand-out moments from the show.

Many believed Monique’s acceptance speech stole the show:

Jay Manuel: “The big stand out show for the awards was Monique winning, I am glad to see it come to fruition because i do believe that her role was so wonderful and painful to watch.”

Giuliana Rancic: “When she got up there she said thank you to the Academy for voting for the most talented and not politics. I think she clearly hands down had the best performance. Some people may think it was a pocket station to make but you have to break it down for the world. She broke it down, her performance was so good that she could be cocky.”

Russell Simmons’ daughter Vanessa Simmons: “I have seen her since I was a little girl acting, being a comedian and doing radio so to see her receive and award means the world to me.”

Others believed Kathryn Bigelow becoming the first female in history to win Best Director will open doors for others wanting to get into the field.

Cheryl Burke: “Having women be such a huge person like she is and be able to win an Oscar is amazing and will definitely inspire other women.”

Director Morgan Spurlock: “She made point-break that women should win an Oscar, she made that film.”

Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton: “Someone has to do it first in order for it to become a trend, popular or okay she definitely is ground breaking.”

Corey Feldman: “That was hot, I'm glad that happened. James did a great job but I think it should have been 50/50 on that.”

Others were just happy to be out in Hollywood! Black Eyed Peas’ Taboo told Hollyscoop the best part was “Here, the party. Inglorious Bastards is my favorite movie and I’m just happy to be hanging out with my boys here.”

We broke the news early in the night to Ryan Seacrest that The Hurt Locker had beat out Avatar for Best Picture. But he didn’t seem to mind… “Did it just win? I like it! It was good!” said Ryan.
