Ryan Seacrest is getting married!
The “American Idol” host and actress Julianne Hough are reportedly considering tying the knot. According to an interview with Life & Style, the couple has been thinking about marriage a lot lately.
"It's something we talk about,” Seacrest confessed to Life & Style. When asked if plans were in the near future, he continued, "We talk about that, too!"
It sure would seem that the presenting powerhouse is ready for a change in his life. Seacrest recently put his Hollywood Hills house back on the market.
Apparently, if he’s going to be starting a family, the 10,000 square foot mansion just isn’t going to be enough space to do it.
Seacreast teased us this week with a fake wedding proposal on “American Idol” that ended in a frustrating punch line. If you missed it, his speech went something like this:
"Julianne would you take the mic for a second?" Seacrest told Hough on live television. “There's something that's been on my mind for a while."
We won’t get your hopes up like he did, but there was no engagement ring. Just a letter.
“Will you...give this note I wrote to Tom Cruise? I'm such a big fan.”
Hough shares the big screen alongside Cruise in the upcoming summer Broadway musical adaptation of Rock of Ages. In the film – which incorporates the most epic rock songs of the 80s – Hough plays a girl named Sherrie, who moves to Los Angeles in 1987 in pursuit of a career in acting.
Back in the real world, Seacrest and the rest of America said goodbye to Hollie Cavanagh this week on “Idol,” leaving behind finalists Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, and Jessica Sanchez.
