Ryan Seacrest Convinces Crystal Bowersox Not to Leave Idol

Most contestants on American Idol would kill to stay on the show for as long as possible. But this season’s Crystal Bowersox is a little different. She’s not like most of the people on Idol, but that’s what we love about her! Plus, her voice is out of this world.

But we hear the pressure of the show is started to get to Crystal, and she recently threatened to leave the show altogether. Sources tell TMZ that Bowersox made the threat two weeks ago, and that Ryan Seacrest swooped in to save the day!

The source says that after a taping one day, Crystal went out to the parking lot and told Ryan she couldn't handle the competition.

She said she hated the attention and told him, "What's the point?"

Ryan convinced her to stay apparently, reminding her that she’d become rich and famous overnight if she won the competition, on top of a recording contract of course. He also said, "The greatest thing I ever did was make enough money so I could buy my mom a house. You can buy your mom a house."

Whatever he did worked, because Crystal seemed happy to not be going home on Wednesday’s elimination! We hope Crystal hangs in there, because she’s definitely got the most talent on the show this season!
