Ryan Reynolds Completes NYC Marathon

Scarlett Johansson's new husband, Ryan Reynolds, successfully finished the New York City Marathon yesterday and talked about his personal inspiration to keep on running to the end.

"I'm still standing. I'm very excited about that. It was an incredible experience."

What kept him going when he started to feel like he was losing steam? Catching the eye of one of his favorite actors did the trick.

"When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 pounds in goose bumps. It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so."

With the help of Team Fox, Ryan ran in honor of his father, who also battles Parkinson's disease. Waiting for him as he crossed the finish line were Ryan's mother and brother, who we're guessing couldn't have been prouder.
