If at first you don’t succeed, curse the economy, and try to sell your seven million dollar mansion again.

Ryan Phillippe has put his Hollywood Hills home back on the market after being unable to sell it for the same price just last year. The actor bought the pad for $7.1 million in 2008, and at this point, he’s lucky to break even from it. Yes, this is the part where you’re supposed to feel sorry for him.

The 7,500 square foot home has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, including a master suite with two baths and a gym. Considering most of the 99% can’t even afford our 1/1 apartments, and Ryan’s bedroom alone is 1/2, it’s no wonder he can’t get a buyer.

Good news, average dudes of America. Amanda Seyfried wants you. Maybe. Possibly. Probably not. But the actress is opening up about what she looks for in a relationship, and she says she’s done dating celebrities. The whole Ryan Phillippe whirlwind must’ve scared her off for good.

Amanda talks candidly about her relationships in the British edition of Glamour. The 25 year-old says that her previous, long-term relationship with Dominic Cooper worked out because the tabloids weren’t as interested in their story.

"Dominic and I were together for such a long time, so the coverage was always positive," she explains. "But when you've just started seeing someone and that person is really famous, it's more of a story."

While she may seem like Hollywood's sweetheart with a naturally unfurrowed brow without the assistance of botox, Reese Witherspoon says her divorce from Ryan Phillippe and being a single mother for 5 years was "really traumatic."

Reese covers the October Issue of Marie Claire and reveals her 2006 divorce from Ryan Phillippe left her and their two children Ava, 12 and Deacon, 7 1/2 very stressed.

"I was hard on myself when I got divorced. And until I got remarried, I don't think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief. I don't think I recognized how anxious I was about being a single parent."

The gossip blogs go nuts whenever a celeb cheating scandal surfaces, but there were some Hollywood homewreckers over the years that somehow went unnoticed.

Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott: Although Tori and Dean act all lovey dovey and pregnant and sweet on all their different Oxygen reality shows, the two were some serious infidels at the start. They met while filming Lifetime Movie “Mind of Murder” and both cheated on their spouses with each other the first night they met! They were engaged to each other before their respective divorces were even finalized.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz: If you thought Alicia Keys was all innocent and under-the-radar, you were wrong! Alicia was the “other woman” in producer Swizz Beatz marriage...

Ryan Phillippe can’t go a week without bagging a chick, so he’s moved on to Disney Star Demi Lovato.

Lovato, 18, and Phillippe, 36, have apparently been hooking up for the last few months. But ever since Phillippe’s ex-girlfriend and rumored baby mama, Alexis Knapp, gave birth two weeks ago, the couple has been taking a break.

A source tells E! news their relationship “was really hot and heavy for a while...

No Maury drama here. Model Alexis Knapp gave birth on July 1, and rumored baby daddy Ryan Phillippe was apparently by her side the entire time.

A friend of Knapp's tells InTouch: "Ryan took Alexis to her last doctor's appointments and was there in the hospital when she gave birth."

Knapp's labor was induced, as she was past her delivery date of June 30. But the rest of the delivery was smooth, and Knapp welcomed 8-pound baby girl, Kai into the world at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center...

Ryan Phillippe and Amanda Seyfried’s on-again off-again relationship is done. Again? Finally? I don’t know.

They were dating or “hanging out” or casually having celebrity sleepovers for the past 7 months, regardless, they’ve finally called it quits.

They have said they plan to stay friends, “It was mutual. They were never fully committed. There’s no bad blood. They’re cool,” a source says.

Amanda Seyfried knows what she wants and when she wants it. She’s only been casually dating Ryan Phillippe for a couple of months, but she’s already ready for motherhood.

At 25, Amanda admits her biological clock is ticking and she can’t wait to have kids.

She said: “I want children! My publicist now has two kids – I love her, so I like to think I’m an auntie to her kids. I can’t wait to have my own! I think it’s really exciting to know that I want them. Knock on wood, I hope I’m fertile, but I’ve never got pregnant before.”

So what if Ryan isn’t the whole, ‘let’s have babies right this second’ thing? Amanda may be SOL because she hates the process of dating.

Amanda added to Now magazine: “I’m always somehow involved with somebody, so I don’t really date. If I meet somebody I’m really fascinated by, I’ll hang out with them, but I don’t go out.

"I also know what I’m like and I’m picky anyway, but dating is a world that I’m not interested in, blind dates especially. What the f**k is that? Scary! But I guess it’s been successful for some.”

Any guy would give their left arm to be with someone as beautiful and talented as Amanda. Have you seen her in Chloe? Simply amazing. I even developed a girl crush on her after that movie.

In a world filled with ugly breakups, it’s hard to realize some of them can be pretty. Ok, maybe not pretty, but less ugly than others.

Some couples just work better as friends than lovers. It takes a big person to overcome anger, resentment, and frustration and get to a place where you can look your ex in the eye without telling them how stupid they are.

It’s especially difficult in Hollywood, a town where tabloids pit people against each other just for sheer entertainment.

But a handful of celebs have made it happen. Here are five celebrity couples and how they’ve managed to stay friends.

Every woman claims to want a gentle, sensitive Prince Charming to open doors and whisper sweet nothings. But it's interesting, then, how many women fall for careless, rough-riding bad boys.

Think it's just a myth? Check out Rihanna's recent Rolling Stone interview, where she said, "I think I’m a bit masochistic. I love feeling like I'm somebody's girl. I love to be tied up and spanked." And we all know what kind of men that thought process gets her.

While not all women go for guys that are "rip your shirt off and smash a window" bad, we sure do love the rest of Hollywood's rebels. We're not saying these guys are boyfriend material, but here's a list of Hollywood's most sought after Bad Boys.
