Ryan O'Neal Banned Other Children from Farrah's Funeral

Ryan O'Neal made sure he was in charge of Farrah Fawcett's funeral so he could control who was allowed to attend, and who he would turn away.

While Farrah and Ryan's incarcerated son Redmond O'Neal was allowed to leave prison to attend the funeral, Ryan's other son Griffin was turned away from his father.

Griffin drove 300 miles to L.A. to attend Farrah's funeral, but Ryan refused to let him stay "because he's a bad guy."

In Griffin's defense he said he attended because, "I just wanted to say goodbye to someone that I knew and loved for 33 years."

Ryan's daughter Tatum O'Neal was also asked not to attend the funeral. Sounds a little harsh! Sure they have struggled with drugs in the past, but so has Redmond. Do you think it was wrong of Ryan not to let his other children attend Farrah's funeral?

ryan oneal is the problem for all his chldren. You have one child who strays and does not turn out how you like. He crapped up all his kids. Take a look at yourself ryan. You still think you are a celebrity as you once were in love story. When you said that on barbara walters. you are living in the past. What have you done lately. You were only in the media because of farrah. how sad is that.

The common denominator in his problems with his kids, is Ryan himself.He is the problem. I had hoped that in Farrah's passing Ryan might realize the need to put the past in the past, the importance of family at a time like this and grow up and be the adult for once. He should have done that FOR Farrah's sake. It was her final day, not his!!! SAD!!!!!

Granted we don't know the specifics of their clearly disfunctional relationships, but Ryan there needs to take some responsibility for his kids being such f-ups...If he put as much effort into raising his kids as he did to taking care of Farrah, they'd all have much more stable lives today...

Ryan O'Neal lived off Farrah for years. Has been arrested for drug use himself. Don't know why he isn't in jail. Some of the tabloid magazines, said Ryan called them months ago trying to get a deal for pictures of Farrah's funeral. I hope a good lawyer takes care of Redmond or Ryan would let him stay in jail, until he steals anything Redmond would inherit!!!!!!!!

I think this is a private family matter. I'm sure Ryan had his reasons, we should respect them instead of try to judge what we can't understand.

I am so disappointed in Ryan for not allowing his other children at the funeral. I thought maybe he may have become a new man..but I guess not. How insensitive not to allow them to say their goodbyes. Shame on Ryan.

He's a disgrace. The funeral wasn't about him, it's for people to say their final goodbye, he had no business stopping his children from paying their respect. He should be in mourning not worrying about everyone else. He should be a shame.
