Farrah Fawcett's photo was notably absent from the Academy Awards tribute on Sunday night and fans of Fawcett, including her longtime lover Ryan O'Neal were left furious and wanted answers.

Agents, publicists and actors were featured in the memorial, but Farrah, who is a TV legend, was left out of the photomontage.

The executive director of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is now apologizing to the friends, family and fans of Farrah Fawcett, saying, "There's nothing you can say to people, particularly to family members, within a day or two of the show that helps at all. They tend to be surprised and hurt, and we understand that and we're sorry for it."

So why was she left out of the tribute? He said he felt her tribute would be more "fitting" for the Emmy Awards.

Ryan O'Neal's daughter, Oscar-winner Tatum O'Neal, also issued a statement Tuesday. It said: "On behalf of myself, my father Ryan O’Neal and my entire family, we are deeply saddened that a truly beautiful and talented actress Farrah Fawcett was not included in the memorial montage during the 82nd Academy Awards. We are bereft with this exclusion of such an international icon who inspired so many for so many reasons. Beautiful, talented Farrah will never be forgotten by her family and amazing fans."

No matter how you put it, Farrah was a legend and she deserved to be included in that photomontage. Plain and simple.
After a long hard year of suffering, Ryan O'Neal finally has something to look forward to. His reportedly joining the cast of 90210!

Sources tell Entertainment Weekly that O’Neal will be playing the father of Teddy, played by actor Trevor Donovan. Ryan’s character is also supposedly a famous movie star.

O’Neal will appear in multiple episodes beginning in April. The show will be on hiatus until the beginning of March.

We’re glad to see something positive happening for Ryan after so much hardship! Hopefully his son Redmond will have his act cleaned up soon too!

Documents have just been obtained showing the details of the late Farrah Fawcett’s will, and the news may surprise you! According to Radaronline, Farrah Fawcett’s longtime love Ryan O'Neal was not named in her official will.

The document, which was last updated on August 9th, 2007, dictates that she leaves $4.5 million to her son Redmond O'Neal, and $100,000 to one of her ex-lovers named Greg Lott. Ryan, her best friend Alana Stewart, nor Craig Nevius are mentioned anywhere.

Farrah also leaves $500,000 to her nephew Greg Walls, $500,000 to her father James in the will. She says she wishes to die at home, which we now know did not happen. Farrah died on June 25th at St. John's hospital in Santa Monica, California.

So why would Farrah leave the people closest to her in her final days out of the will? Perhaps we’ll get answers if the second part of the documentary ever gets released. Alana is pushing to get it made along with Ryan.

In addition, Lott spent the past few months of Farrah’s life claiming to various media outlets that he was her secret boyfriend. He told a British newspaper he last spoke to her April 9th and says that Ryan banned him from seeing her. Sounds like there’s more to the story than what we just saw from the documentary.
It seems as though there’s no criteria necessary anymore to land your own reality show. You can even be stuck behind bars and be a star these days.

According to a new report, Farrah Fawcett’s longtime lover Ryan O'Neal has brokered a deal to get himself and his troubled son Redmond on a reality show.

In Touch reports that the show will feature Redmond, who will just be getting out of jail, as he tries to get his life back on track.

A source close to the family tells the tabloid, “Redmond wants to do this to honor his mother. He really wants to get better to honor her memory.”

Many are speculating that Ryan was pushing for the deal way more than Redmond. An insider says, “Redmond has signed the deal that was brokered for him by his dad. Ryan will be on the show, too.”

We’re not so sure about this one. Something about Ryan O’Neal rubs us the wrong way. He should be focusing on genuinely helping his son beat addiction for good, rather than having the cameras turned on him.

Is this a good idea, or a train wreck in the works?

Here’s a confession you don’t hear everyday. Ryan O'Neal says he hit on his daughter Tatum O’Neal at Farrah Fawcett’s funeral. He says he didn’t recognize her after years of estrangement.

Ryan tells Vanity Fair in their upcoming September issue, "I had just put the casket in the hearse and I was watching it drive away when a beautiful blonde woman comes up and embraces me. I said to her, 'You have a drink on you? You have a car?' She said, 'Daddy, it's me--Tatum!' I was just trying to be funny with a strange Swedish woman, and it's my daughter. It's so sick."

Tatum says she was weirded out by it, either, saying, "That's our relationship in a nutshell. You make of it what you will. It had been a few years since we'd seen each other, and he was always a ladies' man, a bon vivant."

Ryan and Tatum haven’t been close for years now, especially since she wrote her 2004 memoir A Paper Life. Tatum says Ryan "has every right to be angry about the book; no parent wants to hear their kid saying s**** things about them... But what I wrote in the book was true. I've got a battle with drugs, but I'm a strong, independent person, and I fight for myself, and my father and I butt heads."

Ryan goes on in the interview to say that he knows he’s not the best father. He says of his kids, "Just look around at my work -- they're either in jail or they should be.”

Sadly, Ryan is probably right about that. But that doesn’t excuse him hitting on his daughter at Farrah’s funeral! What is wrong with this family?!
Ryan O'Neal made sure he was in charge of Farrah Fawcett's funeral so he could control who was allowed to attend, and who he would turn away.

While Farrah and Ryan's incarcerated son Redmond O'Neal was allowed to leave prison to attend the funeral, Ryan's other son Griffin was turned away from his father.

Griffin drove 300 miles to L.A. to attend Farrah's funeral, but Ryan refused to let him stay "because he's a bad guy."

In Griffin's defense he said he attended because, "I just wanted to say goodbye to someone that I knew and loved for 33 years."

Ryan's daughter Tatum O'Neal was also asked not to attend the funeral. Sounds a little harsh! Sure they have struggled with drugs in the past, but so has Redmond. Do you think it was wrong of Ryan not to let his other children attend Farrah's funeral?

Tragic news to report! Farrah Fawcett has passed away from anal cancer at 62 years old.

Fawcett passed away at 9:28AM this morning at John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, Calif. Fawcett has been fighting anal cancer since her diagnosis three years ago.

Her longtime partner Ryan O'Neal was by her side throughout her final days.

As Hollyscoop had previously reported Farrah was rushed to the hospital earlier this week and had been in critical condition.

According to several media outlets, Ryan was trying to get their son Redmond O'Neal, who is currently serving jail time, a temporary leave of absence so he can say his final goodbye to his mother.

Ryan was also hoping that she would recover enough for them to finally tie the knot before she passed. "I've asked her to marry me again, and she's agreed," he told Barbara Walters for a 20/20 interview scheduled to air tonight.

"I’m holding on to the hope that there is some reason I got cancer and that there is something, that may not be very clear to me right now, that I will do," Fawcett said during an interview for the NBC documentary Farrah's Story.

She added: "Everybody says they're praying for me, so I have to get well... when that many people pray!"

Rest in peace Farrah, you'll be missed!
