Gosling dated Bullock for a year in 2003 when he was 23 and she was 39. (Sorry, I’m obsessed with cougars, I always have to point out the age differences). Then he dated McAdams for two years and that ended in 2007 even after he referred to their relationship as “the great love of his life.”
Ryan says in an interview, “I had two of the greatest girlfriends of all time. I haven’t met anybody who could top them”
Bad news for Eva Mendes who was totally holding hands and making out with Ryan Gosling at Disneyland last week. I guess she can’t top Sandra Bullock, but then who can really? Sandra Bullock is definitely the cougar-next-door, she’s cool and awesome and I want her to give me advice on how to laugh while wearing a Herve Leger bandage dress.
Ryan says he’s “too busy” to date, yeah yeah, we’ve all heard that one before.
“There’s interest, but I’m in a committed relationship with film. I’m giving as much to it as a marriage.”
Ryan says all his past relationships have failed because they were both actors, “Show business is the bad guy. When both people are in show business it’s too much show business. It takes all of the light, so nothing else can grow.”
Deep thoughts courtesy of Ryan Gosling.
However, unlike most Showbiz men who play face rape with half of Hollywood and stay bachelors until they are 50, Ryan would love to settle down and “make babies” as he so not-eloquently describes it.
“I’d like to be making babies, but I’m not, so I’m making movies. When someone comes along I don’t think I’ll be able to do both and I’m fine with that. I’ll make movies until I make babies. I have no idea when the handover will happen.”
Currently, you can see Ryan Gosling in the movie “Drive” where he plays a stunt driver turned driver-for-hire who falls in love with his lovely neighbor played by Carrie Mulligan.
They would make a cute real-life couple, if only she wasn’t engaged, or whatever.
Now Gosling just finished filming “The Place Beyond the Pines” which is the movie we saw him paparazzi photos of him riding around on motorcycles with platinum blonde hair. That shoot is also where he met Eva Mendes.
Now, Gosling has already moved on to a new film, “The Gangster Squad,” which also stars Josh Brolin and Emma Stone. Speaking of Emma Stone, they played lovers in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and could totally date in real life, oh wait, Emma’s dating Spiderman.
