Why Ryan Cabrera Got a Tattoo of Ryan Gosling's Face

In Names You Never Thought You'd See in the Same Sentence, Ryan Cabrera and Ryan Gosling are hanging out together. For eternity. Against Gosling's will.

Ryan Cabrera got a tattoo of Ryan Gosling's face on his leg. Yes, you read that right.

Ryan Cabrera, known to most as that singer who sang that one song featured on "The O.C." that one time, lifted up his pant leg on a red carpet to flaunt this new tat of The Gos forever memorialized on his hamstring. In related news: Ryan Cabrera is still alive.

The tattoo is so unexpected and out there I bet you didn't even notice he's wearing black socks with pink flamingos embroidered on them. You can also put away the calendar you just grabbed to confirm it's actually April 2, and not April 1. It's real.

The singer's explanation for the bizarre choice of ink? A super bro-tastic way to spend a Friday night when the evening has become too monotonous to function: tattoo roulette. You can only do so many keg stands before you need to really shake things up.

"Me and my buddy we go in [a tattoo shop] and he chooses one thing off the wall for me, then I choose one thing for him," Ryan said of the game sweeping frat houses across the nation. "You can't see it until after it's done and then we unveil them at the same time."

"The rules are that it can't be religious and it can't offend anybody," Ryan adds. He did leave out the unwritten third rule that you must have a blood alcohol content of .5% before playing. Clearly.
