Ryan Gosling smolders in the film Drive, which received rave reviews at Cannes. He plays a Hollywood stunt driver by day and getaway driver by night, and if showcasing Gosling’s incredible acting wasn’t enough, he’s also really, really hot in the movie.
Hollyscoop caught up with costar Christina Hendricks, who shares some intense scenes with Gosling. Hendricks told us:
“This character is a good girl at heart. She just makes a lot of bad decisions, and her character with Ryan gets in a sort of sticky situation, and it gets kind of rough.”
From the first day of shooting, Hendricks tells us at the movie was filled with long, hot days.
“The first day of shooting was a very intense scene for both of us,” Hendricks continues. “And I think it was thirty of the crew and two of us in a very, very small, and, I think, hundred degree hotel room together, for a very, very long time. It was an amazing way to start the film. At the end of that day, we all thought, ‘oh, god, I can’t believe this is our first day and this is what we’ve done’. It was pretty incredible.”
Director Nicolas Refn was apparently quite taken with Hendricks. Refn said that if he’s chosen for the Wonder Woman flick, the voluptuous Christina Hendricks will play the superhero.
“If I ever get to do it, she’s going to be it,” the director insisted, adding that the movie is a lifelong dream of his:
“It's probably something that, to me, would be not just a satisfaction, but almost a catharsis”, adding, “I was born to make it.”
